At least, that is the case iwth me, and that is following the speed limits. So in all honesty, there is no real need for a mod for this. Or, you can look at Scania Truck Driving Simulator as it has a bunch of tasks in terms of parking. It is just having the option to just Practice would be a really nice feature.
This thread is archived. You need to come to a complete stop first, then press it again to put it into reverse. Then accelerate to reverse. Options-->Controls-->Transmission-->Simple Automatic gives you simple AWSD forward, backward, left and right if you insist on using keyboard, but mouse steering is way, way better.

When reverse parking, in Euro Truck Simulator 2, always turn the wheel towards the direction you want to go when reversing. When you are 30 degrees to the pa W and S (at least how I have used them) work differently in the Forward and Reverse gears. In forward, W accelerates, and S decelerates. In reverse gear, S accelerates (backwards), and W decelerates. The fifth wheel(the method the truck and trailer connect) is what makes reversing in a semi so tricky.Becuase of it when you reverse you must turn the wheel(and truck) the opposite direction from the way you want the trailer to turn.
