Though the game features many characters from the Arkham series and even seems to continue after Arkham Knight's ending, Gotham Knights is completely separate and unrelated to these games. While the game has its ups and downs, it treats its stars well, so fans of the Bat Family will enjoy this one.

WB Montreal’s latest project is entirely separate to the Arkhamverse - check out Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League for a kinda sorta continuation to that - and instead seeks to tell a different Batman story None of what they have shown feels “right”, even if we’ve only got teasers. Arkham Asylum, City, Knight and Origins all had solid trailers and a clear understanding of what the gameplay was. Gotham Knights is very vague when it comes to gameplay mechanics and that rarely results in something good. Gotham Knight's and the Batman Arkham series utilize two very different versions of Batgirl's character, despite maintaining a shared identity.
