Hi The engine speed sensor is located on the back of the engine (rear side) just under the turbocharger near the bell housing, it has a protective "bracket" held on by 2 x10mm bolts. If you crawl under the vehicle from the RHS you can see it, as I said just below the Turbo. #1 This is more for information. Been doing some testing of my coolant temp sensor. They are located near the thermostat housing. You need to remove heaps of pipes to see this properly. Here is a pic of the Temp sensor and Temp sender for those interested. The temp Sender is brown and this connects to the the dash temp gauge. I believe it may have been an issue in one of the connector blocks that plugs in to ABS unit- dirty, corroded usual fiat guff that they are very prone to I should think. Still ok for now tho. The FIAT Ducato has an outside temperature sensor that can be found in the engine bay of Your vehicle. To find it, simply go to the front of Your car, and raise the hood. Inside the engine compartment, and beneath the area of the transmission and engine block itself, You will find the outside temperature sensor. If the sensor is bad, You can replace it for a cost between $24 and $85.
