Motul 300V 10W-40 Synthetic Oil. If you live in a slightly hotter climate or drive your Evo hard on a semi-regular basis you may want to opt for a 10W-40 engine oil. Motul’s 300V fully synthetic 10W-40 engine oil is an excellent choice for an Evo and comes highly recommended. Jas lad- I think the 7 is an awesome car and with subtle mods can look the dogs. 8 is more expensive and to be honest I don't know why! 7 looks more hardened and is a real weapon with few engine upgrades there's plenty of power to on tap!! IMO 8 isn't worth the extra.

Member. Jun 16, 2015. #11. Evo 7's (RS and GSR models) came with the standard 5 speed that previous models did. The evo 7 GT-A was considered a gentlemen's car, and as a result, came equipped with a less sporty interior and an auto. I'm also fairly sure it came with a smaller turbo or maybe just a different tune.

Aug 7, 2011. #1. Hi guys, I'm really baffled by the speed of Evo 10 in the game. For some reason it really feels slow for me. I tested the Evo 10 and Evo 8 in Fuji and the results are: Evo 8: 2:00.xxx. Evo 10: 2:02.xxx. Is the Evo 10 THAT slow that it lost around 2 secs from the Evo 8? Locally the TRF420x MSRPs for $1400 USD, or almost $1000 USD at retailers, or about $700 USD at retailers in HK. Range of 186,000 (MSRP) to 93,000 (HK) yen. I don't think the EVO 8 commands the same premium as the 420x, but still it's going to be pricey. Looks really pretty and seems to have lots of adjustability.
